Girl Eating Watermelon, Yellow No. 02 is a fine art photograph from the Body Way series, created in 2004 on the Mampituba River in southern Brazil. A young woman stands in shallow water eating a freshly picked watermelon, transforming an everyday summer gesture into a luminous image of freedom, sensuality, and play.

Originally photographed in black and white with an analog Hasselblad camera, the negative was digitized in high resolution and revisited in 2025 with translucent yellow color layers. The intervention creates a dialogue between the organic texture of film and a contemporary painterly atmosphere.

Produced as a museum-quality archival pigment print on fine art paper and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by Marcus Luconi. Supplied unframed and shipped rolled in a reinforced tube.
