In 2012, I had the opportunity to photograph a fashion catalogue in Fernando de Noronha. We stayed on the island for seven days, exploring almost every beach, landscape, and location available to us. Naturally, I wished I could have stayed longer, as Noronha is a place that reveals new possibilities with every change of light, tide, and encounter with nature.

The photographs in this collection are not only beautiful, but also deeply meaningful to me. At that time, Fernando de Noronha was the place where I most clearly witnessed a true environmental awareness. From local guides to fishing boat pilots, everyone showed genuine care for nature, wildlife, vegetation, the sea, and the delicate balance of the archipelago.

Set in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, Fernando de Noronha is more than a paradise destination. It is a Brazilian natural treasure, preserved with attention, respect, and admiration. This collection was born from that visual and emotional experience, celebrating the rare beauty of a well-preserved archipelago where photography, nature, and memory meet.
