Body Way is a photographic series that transcends time without losing its power. Begun in 2004, based on essays conducted in rural areas of Rio Grande do Sul, the work arises from the encounter between the sensitive observation of the feminine in everyday life and the rigorous materiality of analog photography. Produced on black and white film, with medium format cameras, the series constructs a visual language of permanence, silence, and poetic density, capable of uniting memory, presence, and formal refinement. In 2025, the original negatives were digitized in high resolution, allowing the series to be relaunched with technical fidelity and a new breadth of circulation. From this process emerge two complementary expressions of the same body of work: Body Way Vintage, which preserves the tonal richness, texture, and integrity of the original black and white; and Body Way Hybrid, which introduces contemporary interventions through color and digital processes, expanding the image without erasing its analog origin. For collectors, Body Way offers a rare combination of authenticity, provenance, and conceptual continuity: a series rooted in an original process, but open to the vocabulary of the present. For art and decor buyers, the two versions offer distinct and equally sophisticated atmospheres: the Vintage version dialogues with timeless, minimalist, and elegant interiors; the Hybrid version introduces color, visual tension, and contemporaneity, transforming the artwork into a striking presence in the space. Together, they establish a dialogue between heritage and invention, permanence and transformation. More than just two versions of the same series, Body Way presents two entrances to a single poetic universe: one anchored in the tradition of film photography, the other open to the possibilities of contemporary imagery. This coexistence amplifies the symbolic and visual value of the work, inviting the observer to recognize, at the same time, the strength of origin and the freedom of reinvention.
