Vintage Bathtub

Body Way is a photographic series that transcends time without losing its power. Begun in 2004, through photographic essays created in rural areas of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, the work emerges from the encounter between a sensitive observation of the feminine in everyday life and the rigorous materiality of analog photography.

Produced on black-and-white film with medium-format cameras, the series constructs a visual language of permanence, silence and poetic density, uniting memory, presence and formal refinement. In 2025, the original negatives were digitized in high resolution, allowing the series to be presented again with technical fidelity and a renewed breadth of circulation.

Body Way Vintage preserves the tonal richness, texture and integrity of the original black-and-white image, while Body Way Hybrid introduces contemporary interventions through color and digital processes. Together, they establish a dialogue between heritage and invention, permanence and transformation.
