Oistins and the Island Rhythm

Barbados has excellent tourism infrastructure and welcomes visitors from all over the world, many arriving by air. Near the airport, Oistins is a lively fishing village known for its famous Friday night Fish Fry, where locals and travelers gather outdoors to enjoy fresh fish, music, and the warm Caribbean atmosphere. Inspired by this setting, I also photographed planes passing overhead — a simple but meaningful connection between the island’s local life and the constant arrival of new visitors.
